On October 28, Rhizome will explore Agentic Aesthetics as the next edition in our long-running Net Aesthetics series. Since 2005, each of these panels has attempted to capture a current conversation in artistic practice as it relates to changing internet culture and technology. The most recent, Neural Net Aesthetics, took place in 2023, exploring machine learning and its implications for composing and processing sounds and images.

This event will also mark the book launch of “Intersubjectivity IV: Network Affect” published by Sternberg Press, gathering contributors from the book and artists from Rhizome’s community. It will take place across two sessions in the New Museum Theater with accompanying livestream.

After the panel, head down to the museum's restaurant Oberon for the first edition of our public listening series INTERFACE.
